Motivational trainings have some advantages, because they can give an impulse to the person and he will run a short distance. But I’m afraid only a short one. The fact is that the basis of our behavior is not some spontaneous reactions, but basic fundamental needs.
There are three of them :
The need for security, which we have associated with money ;The need for a hierarchical top, which we have is associated with social status ;And sexual need, which is expressed in the need for admiration, in order to be loved, to be admired.
If you have employees, remember that these are basic needs.
They should feel that when working for you they do earn security, they do receive status and someone admires them.
This is what we rarely give to our employees, and they need it so much.
